About me
Transactional Analysis psychotherapy is my main mode of working with clients. I consider formative relationships to be of significant impact on shaping human personality. While we can be hurt in some relationships we can also be healed by other relationships.
Life can be unpredictable at times. It can change without prior notice or knowledge of what is about to happen. This at times can be manageable, but on occasion, we can feel confused, or overwhelmed with what is before us.
I am Swar, a psychotherapist working in private practice. I offer therapy to support individuals in the safety of a contained therapeutic relationship and help them think about and make sense of their difficulties and what is happening in their lives to grow and thrive.
I am a UKCP accredited Transactional Analysis psychotherapist. I hold a certificate, Master’s degree and a Diploma in this field of Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
The sustained attention and safety of this therapeutic relationship can help open doors to encounter dynamics of relating between us. This can inform us of the kinds of difficulties you encounter in life and offer opportunities to repair the pain of the past. My experience includes depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+, trauma, OCD, PTS, addictions, abuse, and Arabic.
There are parts of us that have been hidden or gone into hiding for a really long time. Words at times can’t even get close to describe what happened. Being in therapy with a counsellor who can see-in, completely accept and sit-with the deepest and most hurt parts of you can help you meet yourself again and heal your wounds. I look forward to meeting you.
