About me

I work with thoughtful, capable women who are used to holding a great deal of responsibility in their families, in their work, and within their communities. From the outside, they are often seen as coping well. Internally, it can feel very different.

You may find yourself overthinking, feeling constantly “on”, or struggling to switch off even when nothing is immediately wrong. You might notice anxiety sitting in the background of your day, difficulty resting, or a sense of emotional exhaustion that doesn’t quite go away.

At times, this can show up as irritability, low mood, or feeling overwhelmed in ways that don’t reflect how capable you actually are. You may hold everything together externally, while feeling stretched, reactive, or disconnected behind the scenes.

You might also notice it impacting your relationships, how you respond to your children, or how much space you feel able to take for yourself.

Often, there is insight. You understand yourself. But the patterns still repeat.

Therapy offers a structured space to slow this down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin to respond differently, with more clarity, steadiness and choice.
