Heba Zaphiriou-Zarifi
About me
I am a registered member of the Guild of Analytical Psychologists (GAP), the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), and the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). As a training analyst, supervisor, and workshop leader, my work is grounded in both depth psychology and embodied approaches. I am also trained in trauma-informed body psychotherapy.
Alongside my clinical work, I am a teacher and practitioner of Authentic Movement and the founder of the Central London Authentic Movement Group. I am qualified in BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership, having trained at the Marion Woodman Foundation. I have given talks at the C.G. Jung Club–London and at IAAP-sponsored international conferences, including the Jungian Odyssey.
My practice integrates energy-based therapies for trauma healing, voice work, dance-movement, and dream work. I am a published author in academic journals and have contributed psychoanalytical chapters to several published books.
I maintain an active private practice in both London and the Levant, working with individuals and groups. My approach focuses on the creative aspect of the psyche, often drawing on active imagination within both clinical and research contexts.
Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work.
