About me

I am a qualified therapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University, UK, and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My approach to therapy is person-centred, integrative, and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Schema Therapy. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, trauma, depression, childhood trauma, interpersonal struggles, challenges with emotional regulation, identity confusion, substance use, and loss.

What makes my approach distinctive is the pace and depth I bring to the work. I don’t rush the therapeutic process — instead, I create space for clients to slow down and gently explore the roots of their struggles. My focus is on uncovering and understanding the deeper patterns and emotional wounds that often begin in childhood and continue to shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I combine relational and culturally attuned work with approaches that support lasting change, helping clients move from self-criticism and confusion towards inner clarity, compassion, and self-trust. As an Arabic-speaking therapist trained in the UK, I’m especially attuned to the experiences of those navigating the intersection of cultures, family expectations, and personal identity, offering a space that honours both their history and their growth.
