Nour El Masry
About me
I am an Arabic speaking therapist in the UK, offering integrative psychotherapy in both English and Arabic to adults from a wide range of backgrounds. My journey into psychotherapy began through my own experience of being in therapy and discovering how powerful it can be to be truly heard within a safe and trusting relationship. This experience continues to shape how I work with clients today.
I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and am UKCP accredited. I work with adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns. I offer online therapy across the UK and work in a way that is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to each individual.
My work is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing on psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, self-psychology, and transactional analysis. In practice, this means we may explore how early relationships shape present patterns, how you experience yourself in connection with others, and what feels repeated or stuck in your life. I believe therapy works best when it moves at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and emotionally attuned.
I work with English and Arabic-speaking clients from diverse cultural, social, and personal backgrounds. I am attentive to how personal history, family dynamics, and wider life experiences can influence emotional wellbeing, while always holding each person’s experience as unique.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am the Founder and Director of Arabic Therapists UK, a professional directory created to improve access to ethical, UK-based psychotherapy. This work reflects my wider commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and high professional standards in mental health care.
As an Arabic speaking therapist in the UK, my aim is to offer a warm, reflective, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely, develop greater self-understanding, and build emotional resilience.
