Romy Wakil
About me
I’m Romy Wakil (she/her), a Psychotherapist based in London with Lebanese heritage. I have been practicing since 2012 and work from an anti-oppressive, relational, and trauma-informed perspective.
My approach draws from person-centred and psychodynamic traditions, integrating body-based and mindfulness techniques to support grounding and emotional regulation. I’m particularly passionate about working with clients recovering from trauma, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety, and I believe deeply in the possibility of full recovery and internal freedom.
I also have a strong interest in identity-informed work, supporting clients in exploring cultural and racial identity, intergenerational trauma, and relationships.
