About me

Im a licensed psychologist with experience in the United Kingdom and a global perspective shaped by my multicultural background. I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from the University of Stirling in Scotland, and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Kingston University of London.
I completed my counselling training through COSCA, Scotland’s leading organisation for counselling and psychotherapy, before relocating to the UAE.

With over three years of clinical experience, I bring a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to working with clients navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns, particularly supporting those from diaspora communities.
Im of Iraqi descent and have lived across Australia, Lebanon, Egypt, the UAE, and the UK. I come with a deep cultural understanding of the complexities of identity and a strong commitment to inclusivity.
Im passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and accepted.

I specialise in working with clients struggling with identity formation, intergenerational and cultural conflict, gender exploration, sexuality, religious trauma, and the challenges of straddling multiple cultural frameworks. I use a combination of a psychodynamic and person-centred approach to help clients explore and make sense of their emotional experiences—no matter how complex—while always supporting their sense of autonomy, agency, and personal growth.
